IPPF European Network Partner Survey: Abortion legislation and its Implementation in Europe and Central Asia looks at the relevant legislation in 42 countries, but it essentially examines how these laws are interpreted by providers and experienced by women and girls. The survey was designed to provide a summary of women and girls’ experiences with the use of abortion care, to highlight current threats to their health and reproductive rights, to identify best practices and to stimulate further debate and research. This is not a study, but rather a synthesis of the expertise and understanding of all those who contributed to its development.
